A Little About Jenn
For 11 years, I was a firefighter, EMT, swift water rescue, search & rescue and trained in emergency management. I loved it! I was doing what I was passionate about. It was fun, exciting, excruciating, and heartbreaking all wrapped up together in a chaotic bow. Utilizing the skills gained then to turn life's page, to helping people in a different way, is the honor of a lifetime. On this journey I've learned, and am still learning, so much. It's such a vast world of endless knowledge, with so much more to discover. It’s truly fascinating.
One of the most important things I've learned is the pills that we're being prescribed at an astonishing rate, may seem like they're helping...often times they're not. They're designed to mask the symptoms, not treat the cause. Not to mention, they are doing irreversible damage (both known and unknown) to other parts of your body. It’s never just as simple as "take this pill, it will only help with this one thing and not cause harm in any way". There is always a give and take. Except, it seems as if the take far outweighs the give...
The time I spent as a first responder shed a bit of light on the medical industries darker side. That’s when I began to question everything. Things like, is healing people really in their best interest? Nope, it sure isn't.
So… now, I'm an herbalist, on a journey with my husband to help people find “healthy” again. We’re not meant to be constantly sick, tired, depressed, and disease ridden! The system isn’t set up for us to thrive, because there's not enough money in healthy people! But we're here to change that, one beautiful soul at a time. Our mission? To actually do what the medical industry is supposed to be doing...help people!
